AACC Member Programs

Entrepreneur Program
The spirit of entrepreneurship is very strong in today's young adults. The chamber will partner with established colleges and universities to develop, implement and manage a program to teach young adults how to become an entrepreneur. Details TBA.

School District of Philadelphia
Since 2003 the School District of Philadelphia has partnered with the AACC in efforts to increase awareness and enhance the opportunities for African American businesses to secure contracts with the School District. Through this program vendors receive training and information in the overall bidding process. Through this program, small vendors/contractors are provided technical assistance in meeting requirements for doing business with the School District.

Revolving Loan Pool
The Chamber has established a funding service with the assistance of the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority and United Bank to develop a loan pool to assist minority businesses. The lack of adequate funding is one of the leading causes of minority business failure. To qualify you must be 51% minority owned, have current financial statements and possess a business plan.
