RoadMap
Getting started as a member of the African-American Chamber of Commerce is simple and provides immediate, customizable benefits through the “Roadmap to Growth” Business Development Plan. The “Roadmap to Growth” plan provides an assessment of your business, linked with the most useful membership tools to reach your milestones.

Emerging Opportunities
Forecasting and building pathways to emerging business opportunities will become part of all AACC programming activities in 2010. By conducting research and forging partnerships with professional trade organizations and community organizations, the AACC will work to identify new business opportunities for college students, entrepreneurs and business owners.

Advocacy
As an advocate for its members, the African American Chamber of Commerce seeks to be the voice of the African-American business community. Our purpose is to stay abreast of the economic pulse of this community in order to identify unique barriers to success and to raise awareness about the opportunities and available resources that will help our members attain success. This effort is carried out through ongoing, consistent dialogue with legislators, policy-makers, public and private sector corporations and financial institutions on the specific action items necessary to effect positive change within the African-American community at-large.

Participation & Inclusion
Building upon all of the REAP milestones; [Minority] Participation & Inclusion is most essential to the advancement of the African-American business community. Through partnerships with other similarly positioned organizations, the AACC will work to streamline the minority certification process and centralize bid-assistance resources for mid-sized companies competing for large prime and sub-contracting opportunities. In concert with these efforts, the AACC will also work with public & private sector procurement administrators to help them identify capable vendors to achieve acceptable minority participation goals. Finally, the AACC will engage traditional and non-traditional financial lenders to help capitalize African-American businesses.

Please pardon us while we redevelop aachamber.org into a business resource tool designed to help you R.E.A.P. the benefits of Membership with the African-American Chamber of Commerce!
